The expenditure audit service allowed us to see exactly what our organisation's expenditure was in certain areas, which is something you don't normally audit. The process was very easy, it takes a little while to collate the information needed, but once done CostController do the rest. They produced a report to highlight where we could make savings if we switched to the Market Place preferred suppliers; then it was up to us. So far we've switched stationery and gas suppliers and we are looking to switch to others once our current contracts come to an end. It's early days to know our savings but we do expect to make an annual saving of £1,000 on our stationery. It's now easier dealing with cold calls because I am confident we can access good deals through the Market Place - so we don't need to talk to anyone else.
